I can say that I will no longer use Kinguin, and I will be looking for another site to purchase my keys from. I hope this helps somebody avoid the massive hassles that my brother is dealing with at the time of my writing this. It appears that Kinguin is no longer a reliable source for Windows keys, and if you are in the market, you should probably look elsewhere. So, he will probably have to contact PayPal for both of these transactions to deal with this. The prices are lower because the sellers don’t have to pay for designing their stores, maintaining servers, positioning them in Google, advertising, support, etc. He was informed both times that the key entered was already in use, and no other options were given.Īlso, Kinguin did not refund my brother's purchase to his PayPal account, but instead issued in-store credit even after being informed that he did not want in-store credit. On Kinguin, sellers who bought the keys from a publisher or a wholesaler price them individually. He went through the process of calling up Microsoft (using the SLUI 4 process), and gave all the correct information. He has now had not one, but two bad keys that absolutely will not activate. I recently purchased a Windows 10 OEM Key thru and did buy the buyers protection. So, when my brother needed a Windows 10 Pro key, I told him to use Kinguin to get it. I have purchased more than a few steam keys on Kinguin, as well as my Windows 10 key, and never had any problems. I don't mean to necro an old post, but since this is one of the most likely posts that people will read when searching for this topic on Google, I feel that this is the best place to put this.
